Description
Kundan craftsmanship was introduced by the Mughal empire. The special characteristic of Kundan jewellery is that each stone is cut in the traditional Rose Cut, which originated in the 1500s. Rose-cut stones are facetted in a dome shape with a flat back. Kundan jewellery is handmade with long-standing artisanal traditions, setting each stone individually with a rub-over setting.
